Meet our staff

Pastor Bert Eldredge was born and raised in Casper Wyoming. He has been married to Kristie Eldredge for 40 years. They have one daughter Keshia, one amazing son-in-law Tyler and two wonderful grandchildren Trenton and Paisley.

Pastor Bert is a graduate of the Christian Life school of Theology and is continuing in his education through the North American Lutheran Seminary in Ambridge, Pa.
Pastor Bert does have a Doctorate in Theology as well as a Masters in Divinity. Why is he still going to school? Because there is much to learn about the Lutheran faith and God is never done teaching.

Pastor Bert became a licensed and commissioned pastor in 2008 by Harvest Fields Ministries where he served in the oilfield, prisons, jails, street missions, homeless mission, and has taught Bible classes in many churches.

Pastor Bert has been pastoring at Prince of Peace Lutheran since 2022 and was Ordained into the North American Lutheran Church on April 19, 2024. 

Although Pastor Bert has stepped back from his role in the jail and the prison, he continues to teach at the Wyoming Central Rescue Mission, chaplain at the Wyoming Behavioral Institute with youth, and does a Bible class with the students that are attending Wyoming University in Laramie, Wyoming, along with running the daily needs of a growing congregation.

Tanya Hansen has been a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church for 21 years and the Director of Youth and Family Ministries since 2018. She graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in psychology in 2001. She is passionate about helping the youth deepen their faith in Christ.  She loves working with children of all ages and helping the youth build lasting relationships with their peers in church as well as the adults.  When not working with the youth of Prince of Peace, you will find her teaching preschool at the Prince of Peace and teaching dance at Beautiful Feet Academy of the Dance Arts. Tanya has been married to her husband, Jerry, for 26 years and they have 2 adult children.  She enjoys bowling, reading, baking and traveling.  A self-proclaimed extrovert, Tanya is always up for some new adventure or a cup of tea and some good conversation.
